It is at least frustrating to feel the need to create a webpage to support something that has been true for thousands of years: Macedonia is not just Greek, is Greece itself. It seems however, that it is necessary to compile this page, since there is an effort by some to re-write history to serve their political and other purposes. I do not think they can succeed, since there are scientific evidence that Macedonia is Greece, but as the majority of the people of this planet typically do not know the details of the history, I decided to set up this page.
Below I compiled a set of pages presenting information on the history of Macedonia. I would only like to add the following personal note:
If you read any of the ancient historians, you will find many proofs that Macedonia was a Greek state at its times, such as the Kingdom of Ipiros or the state of Athens and the state of Sparta. I love reading ancient authors and something that you read again and again is that it was believed that Alexander the Great was a descendant of Achilles, the great Greek warrior of Troy. This is only one example. Here is another one: Tradition explains that the people that eventually formed the Macedonian Kingdom originate from Peloponissos, the Southern part of Greece.
